No Recovery, No Fee - What Does It Really Mean?

Chiozza Law AttorneysWe’ve heard the stories. Those experiences with other attorneys. You lose your case, and the attorney sends a bill for filing fees and related expenses.

That doesn’t sound like “no recovery, no fee” you see advertised or referred to by many practicing lawyers, does it?

Simply put, “no recovery, no fee” should mean that if your attorney takes on your case and is not successful in obtaining a recovery on your behalf, then you, as the client, do not owe one cent to your lawyer. If an attorney believes you have a case and is confident in securing a favorable outcome, then he or she is basically betting their own money on you and the matter. As an attorney, you take on cases you believe will be successful, relying on your legal experience and knowledge.

If you are involved in an auto accident, motorcycle or bicycle wreck, wrongful death claim, medical malpractice case, you have plenty of things worry about. Paying legal fees should not be one of them.

We guarantee if there is no recovery, then there is no fee.

The Chiozza Law Firm believes in our clients and their legal matters. We guarantee that no client will ever pay us a dime in personal injury cases if we are not successful in obtaining a favorable settlement or verdict on your behalf.

We put this in writing, along with our guarantee of a maximum 25 percent attorney fee in automobile accident cases, which you will find is usually lower than typical attorney fees in similar cases. This tends to put more money in the hands of our clients, which is well deserved.

If you or a loved one needs legal advice or has been injured, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are a local, Memphis based law firm that knows and understands the Shelby County Court system.

Our office, conveniently located in Downtown Memphis, is the place we call home, welcoming walk-ins with no appointment necessary. Whether you need a break from the heat or want to discuss a new or pending legal matter, our doors are always open.

If you can’t make it to the office feel free to call 901-526-9494 or for after hour emergencies email Brian Chiozza, brian@chiozzalaw.com.
